A demonstration by the Saskatoon Police Emergency response team will take place during intermission.

The Great Plains Comedy Festival returns to Saskatoon for its’ 6th consecutive year to saturate the city with hilarious comedy. The festival features an array of high-end performers, some rising stars and established headliners.

The indigenous Peoples Program at the University of Saskatchewan is holding their 1st Annual 4-person Texas Scramble 18-Hole Golf Tournament Youth Fundraiser at the Dakota Dunes Golf Links on Thursday, July 10th. 

There are cash prizes to be won for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize, as well as different contests during the tournament.  Gary Merasty will be the Honorary Chair of the event. 

The cost is $700 for a team of 4 or $175 per individual.  All proceeds will go to the Aboriginal Youth Leadership Program. 

It’s the 40th Anniversary SPCA Walk-a-thon!

The Walk-a-Thon will be held in conjunction with the 3rd Annual Pets in the Park celebration on Sunday, July 6th 2008 in Kiwanis Park on the Saskatoon riverbank. Prizes, games food and drink with your walk-a-thon registration.
