Micheal Jackson and Farrah Fawcett?
Hey everyone. Yes, I know I'm on holidays. But I had to weigh in on today. Perhaps one of the most traumatic and devastating days in showbiz history. I started the day off with word that Farrah Fawcett had passed from cancer. Bad enough in it's own right. Mostly because we were all rooting for her. Even though I may be a little too young to remember her being an icon, I've still seen pictures of her. She was absolutely drop dead gorgeous.
But the days biggest shocker came when I found out Micheal Jackson died. Micheal Jackson? Even though Micheal Jackson has been on the brunt end of most jokes for over a decade, there was always an undertone of respect for the man. He singlehandedly changed the tone of pop culture for years to come. He united all kinds of music genres. Let me guess, you're saying " Chad, you're throwing you're rock credibility out the window". Even so, the man deserves our respect.
I always wondered how everyone felt the day Elvis died. Even the people who weren't Elvis fans. What was it like the day Lennon was shot? Now I know. What a shi%$ty day!

I've noticed a couple of my blogs lately have had an imposter posting as me. It is not me. I am me. ............ I've confused myself. What I'm getting at is, if it doesn't have my name in the top subject line, it's not me. Secondly. I have tonnes of rock crediblility. Not alot of people know this, but I'm a geologist on the side. That's right, I know all kinds of rock. Porous rock, diamonds, minerals, even volcanic rock. So to judge my rock credibility is just wrong.
But the Chad McDonald imposter did make a great point about the name posts. I don't really care for people who bash others and don't have the "balls" to put their name on it.
This all being said, I even love the haters. As a matter of fact I love them more. Cause I know they love it when I love them. Come here haters, I got a big ole kiss for ya. That's why I wear a backwards hat. So I get closer for the snuggles.
ps: I don't wear the backwards hat much anymore. Since the reunion of Limp Bizkit I feel it gets a bad rap from the critics.

You know, I think enough has been said on this. All I was trying to do was support a friend of mine who was being bashed on his own blog while he's gone on vacation. Thats like calling someone out to a fight who's not even there.

Typical, attack the man while he's away. You obviously have no idea what your talking about and have no kind of musical history/education or anything to know about music. If you knew the guy, you would know he does have a musical history background plus is educated. I'm proud to call Chad a friend and for being young and on the air I have much respect for him for that. I, on the other hand, have been exposed and around music now for 34 years. I do have a musical background and in my early days I was a DJ and even owned my own DJ business.

I have a masters in music and am proficient on several different instruments. I have taught and played in bands for several years, but what does music eduaction have to do with credibility? Nothing. What do you do now DJ Taz? No music anymore? Must be true what they say; that those who can't... become critics.
