Well...I'm not really jumping off the building, but I will be repelling down the Carlton Tower. Why you ask?

I walk into work with a Wendy's Salad and our lovely receptionist says,"Let me guess, Baja Salad"  Well yes of course!  Now the thing is that the new salads there are my favourite, but I also find myself going out of the way to go to Wendy's on 8th street as I always have great, friendly service!  I would say that I am a good customer.  All I and most people want when we go somewhere and spend money we want to be greeted with a smile :)!  I've noticed that the service in Saskatoon is great from my experience lately.  I consider myself a happy person always smilin

My neighbor Mitch and I came up with a great way to meet some of the new neighbors that have moved into our area lately. Shut down the street and hold the 1st annual beer and meat fest! Basically everyone puts their BBQ on their driveways, cooks up some sort of meat product and contributes a case of beer from another country into a large blow up swimming pool that we use for a big cooler. Nothing like first impressions, meeting the new neighbor s**tfaced with pulled pork grease dripping off your chin! Now that's a PARTY!

Last night in Cincinatti it happened.  He fell off the stage, and I am talking about Scott Weiland from STP.  Just going hard then down. OUCH!  It happens, new stage, lights shining in your face and indulging before the show = falling off the stage.  Unless he saw how much exposure Aerosmith got from Tyler falling off the stage and thought the exposure might be good? Perhaps, but I don't think so check out the vid here, he's rocking out and then down he goes.  Props to Scott, he kept singing.

I found this experiment online and I wanted to put it to the test on the show. This is IDEAL for those days when it's plus 30, you spontaneously invite the boys over after the ball game, only to find your ice cold beer has been pushed out of the fridge to make room for wifey's meatloaf. D'oh! Who serves warm beer? Nobody. Check this out...with this little concoction, you can turn your warm beer into ice cold goodness in 3 MINUTES!

So the Dictionary has a few new words to add: Vuvuzela being one of them.  I don't mean to offend anyone but I found Soccer to be terribly boring before the Vevuzela, now it's boring and annoying.  

And for this next topic some men might disagree.

Does anyone else feel ripped off about summer this year. I look outside along the river valley and already I see trees turning color. This is like the 4rd summer in a row that has been less then stellar. I think I've used my sprinkler about 4 times this year. It just seems like yesterday we were enjoying 30 degree temperatures for for a couple of weeks straight, but that was 2006! What the hell is going on! Saskatoon, the sunshine captital of Canada! Yeah, for about 3 days!

Shack's Babe of the Day!

Wow what a week!  The EX was crazy fun had a blast myself.  I want to thank everyone who came out for So you think you can Salsa this past Saturday night at Beilys.  What a great time and it was all in support of the Children's Hospital Foundation.  If you didn't get a chance to check it out we will be performing for Folkfest this week!   Here are the times: Thursday 8:30pm, Friday @ 9:30 and finally Saturday @ 8:30.  We will be at the Peruvian pavillion at TCU Place, hope you can make it!

Maybe as I get older, the simpler things in life get me excited, like....going to the dump. Here me out. Here I am, I just did a magor cleaning of my garage and my backyard, my truck is loaded to the nuts with junk (and maybe a few things my wife doesn't know I threw away). I get out to the dump and as I'm chucking everything into the bin, I feel a quiet calmness come over me. I'm not exactly sure what it means, but my closest explanation would be, closure. The fact that all this crap I've accumulated over the years is finally gone, outta my hair, finito!
